march thirty one: kwanzaa haiku – Nia and Kuumba

Since I missed posting a Kwanzaa Haiku for the Principle of Nia (Purpose) on Saturday, you will get 2 for 1 today, that will also include my favorite principle Kuumba (creativity). Reminds me of when I was the Kuumba (poetry) editor for my college magazine, UHURU at Kent State University back in the 90’s. This is why I think Nia and Kuumba go so great together within the Nguzo Saba (7 Principles).

Kwanzaa Haiku – Nia

Make Resolutions
Be realistic with your goals
Live life with purpose

Kwanzaa Haiku – Kuumba

God gave you talent
Use your gifts for good and share
Creativity

Thanks for reading and supporting March Thirty One poetry
